Note authorities differ whether Oliver and his wife died in England or in America. I've shown England because he isn't mentioned as immigrating in GMB, but this may be incorrect.

He is the ancestor of Millard Fillmore thru his son Aquilla and Presidents Grant and Coolidge thru his daughter Joan.

Or: PURCHIS
Father of Joan according to Savage, and below.
"Oliver Purchase -- Married Thomasine Harris, 1 June 1577, Holy Trinity, Dorchester, Dorset, England. Oliver died in England as did his wife. She has been called the widow Purchace [sic] in Dorchester,MA in 1633, but the widow Purchase was more likely the widow of Aquila Purchase who died at sea in 1633 coming to New England. Oliver Purchase's wife would have been a. age 76 in 1633."
